WELCOME!!!

Welcome whether you are a seasoned crafter (of any crafts) or are brand new to all crafts or whether you fall somewhere in between!!  There is ALWAYS a place for those who want to exercise creativity and make something meaningful to share with others.

What I love about Stampin' UP!

I love the coordination of the products, the great atmosphere of sharing ideas between demonstrators, the fun of gathering with friends to craft, helping others find their creative mojo and more. 

During the pandemic, however, I found a brand new appreciation for what we do as crafters - especially paper card crafters.  When I was feeling down or missing friends while we stayed distant and safe, I'd send a card!  It made me feel good to reach out.  I was unprepared, however, for the flood of emotion that came my way from the recipients. Somehow the timing seemed to be about perfect....I sent a card to a young nurse to share my appreciation and wish her health and safety.  She messaged me that the card really touched her heart.  She opened it when she got home from work. It lifted her up after learning that very day she would be assigned to the covid unit.  Another young person, a teacher, was facing so many challenges at her job.  Her card arrived and she also reached out to tell me how perfect it was that she received the card when she did.  Friends who faced difficult times in their lives felt supported and loved when they received cards in the mail.

This fun hobby of ours can really make a difference in the lives of the recipients be they friends and family or strangers. Any card can pass along a sentiment and signature, Somehow, however, our cards carry with them traces of the emotions we feel as we include heartfelt messages and sign our names.  And the recipients feel that as they open and read their cards.


I love that we can fill our hearts as we craft with friends. AND then we can use our creations to better the days of others who receive them.

Classes

I also enjoy teaching classes. For me, it is quite rewarding to see the look of accomplishment on the faces of others as they expand their creativity, learn new skills and create beautiful projects. The bonus is when crafters realize the joy they gave others by sharing their creations.

Please join me for a class/workshop or as a team member.  We'll have a lot of fun, make great projects and give others lots of reasons to smile!!!
